Zoe Flora Brunoro (Rome, 2001) is an Italian-Dutch artist who has developed a practice rooted in both personal and collective rituals. Her paintings and installations, often built from scratch on raw unprocessed and recyclable materials, explore unfamiliar emotional and material territories.Through recurring natural/biological elements, she weaves together ancient and contemporary imagery, reflecting on cyclical rhythms of bodies and seasons. Her recent focus investigates the intersection of feminist phenomenology. By translating the tactile language of her poetry (available on request), she explores the reclamation of the female body through the metaphor of the braid.
