Zoe Flora Brunoro (Rome, 2001) is an Italian-Dutch artist whose work unfolds across painting and illustration. Having lived between Berlin, Bologna, The Hague and Rome, she developed a practice rooted in both personal and collective rituals. Her paintings, built from scratch on raw unprocessed canvas, explore unfamiliar emotional and material territories. Through recurring elements like hair and leaves, she weaves together ancient and contemporary imagery, reflecting on cyclical rhythms of bodies and seasons, tracing their knots onto the surface of the canvas. Her illustrations have the same intent, creating alternative worlds that intertwine imagination and experience.
